Early in life Marian Duncan left the province to make her home with her cousin, Marian iMimiie) Welsh, wife of Dr. E. P. Moore of South Bend. Indiana and in that city, where she spent the greater part oi her life, she endeared her- self to a Wide circle of friends. Es- pecially was she beloved in the family group of which she was a member. She returned to this province a mumber of years ago, to make her homo with her brothers and sis- ters, all of whom predeceased her. In recent years she lived at Mil- ton and North Rust-ice and carly this fall she went to East Bidciord. where she intended spending ilcr remaining days. This time proved of short duration and after only a month in her new home. she passed away. Possessed of those qualities of generosity and goodness, the late iss Duncan endeared herself to a very wide circle of friends. She was a devout and life-long mem- ber oi the Anglican Church. The funeral was 'hcld from St. Mark's Anglican Church at south Rustico. Sunday afternoon. Oct. the 13th, and in the absence on military duty of the rcctor. the Rev. Mr. Phillips, the service was taken by Canon Malone of St. Peter's Cathedral. Charlottetown. at whose church Miss Duncnn was a frequent attendant. St. Malkslvasiillcd with fricnds, many coming out from Charlotte- town and other parts of the Is- land. The hymns ciloscn were, “The Lord's My Shepherd." "Lend Kindly Light", and "Jesus.
