N, B., May 13-The strike on thc Care Tormentino Rail- way still continues and the men feel increasingly confident of ultimate success. The men were very much cheered this inorn-ing when they found that the regular passenger and mail train due to leave Sackvllle for the round trip to Cape Tormentine and return was canoelled.l This cancellation, however, -caused, much inconvenience to u.any people. The Management. of the Railway is making futile-efforts to keep the freight traffic moving by utilizing the regular passenger train to -do freight work between Sack- ville and Cape Tormentine. This means that the passengers have to wait in the car the considerable por- tion of an hour at many of the sid- ings, while the passenger locomo- tive is shunting out cars. As a result of these delays, the total aggregate is three or four hours on a 'trlD. this causing passengers co miss their through connections with the 1.0. R. trains. CAPTIYRED 'I‘l.'iii-LS.
