Well, the end of the year is almost upon us, so study hard. Well, I guess we proved to the old ENGINEERS that the BIOS are the REAL partiers on the campus (Don’t worry engineers, with a little practice you could easily move into 4th place!!!). The Spring Break party at the BARN turned out to be quite a blast and I was glad to see that no one had trouble with the beverages provided. We’ dlike to extend a warm welcome to all the new members and remind everyone that more events are being planned including one Watch for details!! A Quick thanks to the great staff at the PANTHER LOUNGE and especially Mark PONTIFICATE McClane who helped ‘fuel’ the party. The week following the break was the AUUBC hosted by St. Francis Xavier Univer- sity in Antigonish. The AUUBC is a chance for undergrads doing research to present their find- ings to other undergrads. In addition to some really interesting presentations (from genetics to aquaculture)and guest speakers, the weekend was a blend of partying (man can those capers party) and relaxation (right, Andrew?). CONGRATULATIONS to Cathy Mosher who did an AWESOME presentation and a special thanks to the Wild driver, Prof Hale who brought us to the conference. On Thursday, March 18, the bio club jackets were shown. Ifyou did not get a chance to order one, there is still a chance. Just contac! Doug or Kevin. As well, nominations for bio- club beer bottle awards can be made at any time to the exec. : Bye for now. (ube cn)
