Church, 'who was called to Siunmcrsidc on account of the illness Province have rendered great assist- ance in taking care of dependent children, although it is the aim of the Society to place the children in foster homes whenever possible. The Society keeps in touch with the children and secs that they are well cared for. Delinquent children are more difficult for the Society to handle, as the Juvenile Court func- tions in Summerslde only. It has been very satisfactory, however, and dealt with a. large number of cases. Judge Inman takes a very keen in- terest in the children which come before him in theJuvcnlle Court. The ChlldI€\‘I'V\'l1O come before the Court generally have to be placed in reform institutions as it is difficult through this Society. I wish to ex‘ tend to the bereaved family my sin cere sympathy. It is my pleasure to report i.l:::: although we have had a fairly busy year's work, we have accomplished a great amount of good. During the year just closing, our society has vis- ited five homes out of town to in- vestigate cascs of neglected children. Two have been placed in foster homes.
