ders received during January when
two car loads were sent.west, one to
Winnipeg and one to Vancouver, both
orders being for their best chocola-
tes, none of the cheaper grades being
wanted. Thus the demand grows
from east to west, and the factory is
working night. and day to keep up
orders even finding it difficult to se-
cure sufficient _workmen. Everybody
is interested in the superior merits
of their favorite chocolates, especial-
ly the famous Delamars which were
awarded the Gold Medal at the
Paris Exposition. The test for this
high honor was most stringent. It
included quality, appearance and fla-
vor and was put in competition with
the best the old and new \vorld's
could produce. The Delamars, as
in other competitions, carried off the
Gold Medal with flying colors _ and
the White Candy Co Ltd_is justly
proud of its honor. Then the flav-
ors. so "varied, so extensive, that
everyone has a choice, are made in
hard and soft centres, nut, caramel,
or in fact. any desired centre concei-
vable tn the minds of expert work-
men who have all their lives studied
the art of confectionery and worked
out splendid results.
There are now no less than fifty
flavors to choose from in the rich,
dark coated Delamars, while the
Daisy, also an_ old favorite with
light chocolate coating, gives the
buyer fifty more flavors, thus the
grand total of one hundred distinct
flavors are given to the large ‘pat-`
