Montague Branch, was held in the Legion hall Monday evening. The meeting was conducted by the vice-president. Mrs. B. N. Stewart. Following the roll call. the minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. The finan- cial report was read by the re- tiring treasurer, Mrs Malcolm Mac- Kenzlc. it was reported that the hall will he painted and in read- iness for the New Year. New bus- iness included sending gifts to be placed on the veterans Christmas tree at Moore and MacLeod's store in Charlottetown. Mrs. Malcolm Supel" MacKenzie was appointed to attend F oy Meets to this matter. Mrs. Atwood Mac- Donald was asked to send Christ- mas gtrcctings to hospitalized vet- erans. As there was no further business it was moved the meeting be adjourned. Montague United Church Ladies Aid Annual Meeting The Ladies Aid of Trinity Church. Montague held their annual meet- ing at the home of Mrs. A. D. MacKenzie. on Tuesday evening, with 23 members present. With the president. Mrs. Bruce, presiding, the meeting opened lay singing 5 Christmas carol. Minutes of the last regular and annual meeting were read and approved. A very gratifying financial state- ment for the year was read by the treasurer. The president thanked all the members for their assistance. and co- opcration which made the past year so successful.
