HOCKEY.-Although Norman at first said he would not play hockey this year, it is more than likely that he will be found in the line-up of one of the M. P. H. A. teams as soon as hockey stnrts. He is gradually work- ling into a desire to play again. The lest time he was asked if he was go- ini: in for hockey this winter, he just smiled and said he co\ilrln’t say for certain. He is much exercised over tlic hockey situation, and thinks that if the Halifax teams are not in the M. P. H. A. this year it will be u se- vere blow to pro hockey in Nova Scotia. No doubt it will, but that is the fault of`tbe Halifax teams them- selves. T-here has been some denial ol the fact that Norman was the odicinl representative, of the Moncton club at the first meeting of the M. P. ‘H. A. When asked if this report was trua _ Norman said he was authorized to act as the ofllclai representative of the Moncton club. Norman is well known in Charlottetown. SOCIAL EVENT.- Mrs. W. F.
