     IN pursuanec ot an Art of the General Assembly of this 
     
    

    
     Island made and passed in the Eleventh year of the 
     
     reign of Her Majesty, Queen Victozia, intituled “ An Act 
     
     for levying further on Assessment in all Lands in this 
     
     Colony, and for the encouragement of Education;" and also 
     
     an Act in amendment of the said Act. intituled “An Act 
     
     to explain and amend the present Act for the Assessment 
     
     of Land. and the encouragement of Education ;” and also 
     
     of an Act made and passed in the twenty'fourth year of the 
     
     said reign, intituled, “ An Act to raise funds for the pur- 
     
     poses ot Education by imposing an additional Assessment 
     
     on Land in this Island. and on real Estate in Charlotte- 
     
     town and Common and Georgetown and Common.” Ido 
     
     hereby give public notice that 1 have made proclamation 
     
     according to the terms of the said Acts, of all the under 
     
     mentioned Town L-its, Water Lots. Common Lots, Pasture 
     
     Lots, Islands, Townships, or parts of Townships, in this 
     
     Island, in arrear lor the non-payment of the several sums 
     
     due and owing thereon to Her Majesty, under and by vir—

     pursuance of a power contained in a certain Assignment, hearing 
     
     date the Fifteenth day of June, A.D., 1863, made between Isaac 
     
     Ilowat, of Saint Eleanor’s, in Prince County, and John 1). Reid, of

     said Isaac llowat in and to five acres'of land, situate in Saint 
     
     Eleanor’s, described as folloWs: Commencing at a stake fixed on 
     
     Frederick Cannon's North line, running from thence along said line 
     
     West thirty degrees, North live chains; thence North thirty degrees, 
     
     East ten chains; thence East thirty degrees, South iivc chainsi 
     
     thence South thirty degrees, \Vest ten chains, to the place 01' 
     
     beginning, containing five acres of land, a little more or less, 
     
     bounded on the East by reserved land for a. road twenty feet wide, 
     
     so to remain. and is part of Torvnship Number seventeen, together
