A large executive meeting yes- terday decided that the league's first-place team will playoff with the fourth-spot team and the second and third-place teams will tangle in the opening round. League officials said they will draw up the semi-final schedule at another meeting in Moncton, N.B., Feb. l9. The four teams in the league are Halifax, Saint John, Moncion and Amherst. Barbara Ann and another ice show open at Amherst, N.S., and Halifax, respectively, just two days after the semi-finals are scheduled to start. The ice show will be in Moncton from March l to 8. The executive also decided the dates for three postponed games: Amherst Ramblers will play at Halifax Wednesday. The game was postponed from Jan. 21.
