A special train towards evening brought the resemative Batt. of P. E. Island from Point du Chene, it having left Char- lottetown at 6.30 in the morning. The Batt. is 192 strong, comprising engineers, infantry and artillery, and will form a bat- talion ef infantry in the field. The men are well sized, well dressed, well fitted out, and as a rule remarkably fine leeking in- dividually.
