Father McLclland. In announcing the dats of the month- ly confessions for the boys, hs urged on the parents the necessity for Swing f-0 it that their boys and girls were regular at their confession and that they performed this obligation at least once a,month if not ' more often. Father Mchelland impressed the fact that the boy who was found willing to bc regular in his confes- sions was rarely the one that nitar- wards was found going astray from the paths of rectitudc; but the boy who was quickest to take to the downward path was always he who sought to skip this duty. Ha also cxhortcd parents to ace to it that their children attended thc Sunday School regularly; it was only once a week and it was only a amall amount of Christian Doctrine that could bo imparted to thc children during that time.
