The December and January meet-
ings \vci~c held at the homes of
Mrs. Fulton Douglas and Mrs. Mil-
ton Coffin, respectively. Both meet
ings opened with the Creed. Rc-
ports of Sck and School committees
were received. School was cleaned
each month and a scuttle and
hooks provided. The members dc-
cided to get some sewing and fancy
work to do during the winter
months. This has been received and
was divided among the members at
last meeting. The Institute decid-
ed to support the Dental Clinics to
be held in the Spring. At each
meeting 9. short programme was
enjoyed, after wh’ch lunch was ser-
ved by the hostess of the evening.
Next meeting will be held at the
home of Mrs. Nashus McCormack.

Mr. Dingivcll had been in his us-
ual health when hc was stricken
with angina pectoris and only liv-
ed a couple of hours. He came to
Boston forty-six yenrs ago and
worked as a carpenter for a short
time when he entered the employ
of Brown and Durell Co., and has
been with them up to the time of
his death.
Mr. Dingwell was a man with
many sterling qualities of mind
and heart which endeared him to

The January meeting was held
at the home of Mrs. Jas. A. Mc-
Leod on the 14th with eight mem-
bers present.
Meeting opened by repeating tht

"How to improve our meetings,"
andsome useful suggestions were
offered. After tha signing of the
last minutes committees were sp-
poirited as follows:

It was decided to renew our sub-
scription to the Institute News.

2.40 had as entries Lady Upton
Don R., Checkers and Darky Boy
and was won in straight heats by
Lady Upton~with Don R. right at
her pad, Checkers third and Dar-
ky Boy fourth. These horses were
very evenly matched and we look
for some hot contests from them
in the near future. The green race
brought together five starters,
namely, Marshall Aubrey, Grey-
bird, Eureka Girl, Traddles and
Gipsy and was won by Marshall
Aubrey, Grey Bird a. close second
and Gipsy a good third.
The Club is very much endcbicd
to Mr. George Hughes. Brncklcy,
for the use of his car for starter.
