Nov. 3, however, Messrs Hyndman &
Co,, Lloyd agents at that port, state
that their 1910 calendair was suggest-

in this paper. The Calendar nears in

cle: "Many a well built ship has
come to an untimely end, and many
ri valuable life has been sacrificed ow-
ing to neglect on the pavrt of the mas-

calendar shows a fine colored repro-

ing to claw off a lee-shore, having
evidently got into a dangerous posi-
tion from neglect of the lead. Messrs
Hyndmun and Co rightly think that
“every sea captain should have these

It is commendable to note the -.good
work being done by the Salvation
Army in this ilty in connection with
