VOL.4, #3 NOV. 10, 1972 "What Do You Do With Dead Soldiers" The heading Of this article is taken from a recent show: "Shanandoah' in which the lead actor makes this remark° There seems to be no answer to this question and yet every year, at this time, there is an attempt to find just such an ans- wer. That answer is pre— sented on Nov° 11 in the phrase "we shall remember them." It may seem little to offer a person who has died so others may seek and find a better future but because of.this sacri- fice we live in a world of choice, and will not forget them: thusly they live. They died for the future of their families and the families of the oppressed so that their children could grow in freedom and raise sons and daughters in a world of love and respect. We the youth of to— day may at this time be— lieve that war is wrong but a time may come when we will find it necess- ary to take up arms to protect our way of life and family. At that time we will not balk Ilat war but fight for a right. When it is over, we will try to forget the horror but not, I hope, the sacrifice of many° we shall stand in pride, yet in sorrow, and say, as we should now, THANK YOU-WE SHALL REMEMBER. BY Dan Mullin
