Her fat-her was drowned on a voyage to the West Indies when she was two years old. At the age of five she came to live at Pownal where she went to school. She worked hard and faithfully for her loved ones and leaves behind. her a memory of faith. courage and patience which will long be cher- ished by those who knew her best.
