Cascumpcc and Tignish United Churches has announced his intention to leave this charge in June of next year. much to the rcgrct of his parishioners. On Monday evening a repre- sentative gathering of the con- gregations met in Alberion. They paid tribute to the zeal and de- voi:on of the minister. and urged him to reconsider his decision. Rev. Mr. Fitzpatrick stated how- ever that after nearly three years of attempting to serve his charge by taxi, cars of friends, and walk- ing. he felt that to do ftili justice to the pastoral work they needed a man with an automobile on the job constantly. Rev. Mr. Fitzpatrick has given special attention to the aged and sick. and his interest and counsel to the Young People's groups have been greatly valued.
