Another Whitechapel Murder. Lonpon, Sept. 10. At 5.30 this morning the body of a woman was found lying in the corner of the rail- way arch on Cable Street, Whitechapel. The head and arms had been cut off and carried away, and the stomach ripped open, the intestines lying on the ground. The police instantly surrounded the spot, but no arrests have been made. Physicians who examined the badly state that, in their opinion, the murder and mutilation occu- pied nearly an hour. it is thought that the murderer carried off the head and arms ina bag. The murder is the worst of the whole series of Whitechapel murders. The manner in which the head had been severed from the body shows that the murderer possessed some surgical skill. The woman was about 30 years old. Her clothing was shabby. The remains have not been iden- tified. The most intense excitement pre- vails in Whitechapel. LATER. Details show there was no blood on the ground where the body was found, nor any blood on the body. From this it is evi- dent that the murder was committed some- where else, and that the body was depos- ited under the railway arch. The trunk was nude. A bloody chemise was found lying near the body. The arms were ia- tact, but the legs were missing. It is be- lieved the woman has been dead two days. vince tility A Disastrous Storm. New Yors, Sept. 10.
