The report of the "ways and Means" committee was given by Lorna. Nicholson and received the approval of the members. Plans were made for the Day of Prayer service. A special feature of the evening was a re. affiliation service when the Cann- dian Girls In Training with their leader, Mrs. James Gudmore, be- came affiliated with the Women's Missionary society. Mrs. J. M. Fraser conducted the service, with responses by the girls who then carried out a candle- l:glrting exercise to emphasize the aims and ideals of the C. G. I. T. groun. The president welcomed the C. G. I. T. into the Society and pronounced the benediction. Refreshments were served by the committee in charge, with the members of the C. G. I, T. assist- prayer by I. Christian woman of Angola, was given by the leader. The president, with the use of a chart and pictures, presented Chapter VII of the Study Book - "The church of Christ in Angola." Mrs. George Maocoubrey gave a sketch of the work of Miss Edith Radley. who was designated in 1940 to Angola.
