The B.Y.C. can" clinch the title by winning three of their remain- ing five games. Any combination uniors ll-3 which amounts to three will mean the League title for the bustling Youth Clubbers. In defeating the Shamrocks last night the B.Y.C. had their tough- est fight of the year. The Youth Clubbers scored seven times in the first inning but the Shamrocks for- get to play dead and promptly got back in the ball game with six big runs in the third inning. The score was tied 9-9 at the end of the seven innings but in the first extra inning the B.Y.C. hitters started to find the range while the Shamrocks ” S weakened and the winners sent six runners across the plate. Joe Thistle started on the mound for the B.Y.C. and was relieved by Ralph Pineau in the third. Thistle pitched the fourth and Pineau came on in the fifth to finish the game.
