Y., died unexpectedly Oct. 17 aboard the Grace Liner Santa Monica en route to his home from South America. He had been on a three week vacation cruise. Mr. MacNeiIl was president cl the L. J. MacNeill Contracting Corporation, 11 Williams St, white Plains and 0d 51 East 42nd Street. New York City. The ccmpany has had otfice in White Plains for the past 20 years. Ho will be greatly missed in his church where he was a member since his early boy hood and a faithful servant in all the activit- ies connected with it. His funeral service was conducted by his pas- tor who spcike comforting ucrds to the bereaved. He was a. member of hhe Building Trades I-knployers‘ Association of N.Y. City. He was also affiliated with the White Plains Lodge 535 B.P.O.E. and with the Mt. Sinai Lodge of Odd Fellows in Boston. Since his affiliation with this or- ganization s. score of years ago, he has been a staunch and active member. serving on various com- mittees, one time treasurer and currently on the board of governors, he contributed much to the pro- gress of the Association andindus- try. His amiable disposition amt high attributes of character won for him the respect and admirat- ion ad all who came to know him. In his demise we have 10st s. loyal friend. the building industry s. con- tractor guided by the best ethical standards and his family a loving and considerate husband and father.
