They went ahead 5-2 in the fifth end before the visitors scor- ed again in the sixth to make the score 5-3. r As the rinks entered the tenth end the score was 9-4. The Mac- Farlanc rink picked up two rocks during the tenth to close the gap and make the score S6. The visitors had their last big chance in the eleventh end. By virtue of the fine curling they dis- played throughout the meet they got three rocks inside the circle and with a little luck might have evened the score. However Dr. MacDonald on his last shot glanced the rock off his own guard onto the Summer- side rock in the centre of the circle. MacFarlane's rock was knocked out and the Mat-Donald rock remained in the centre of the circle to put the City curlers ahead 10-6.
