MacPhee, of Tor- onto, formerly of Giarlottetown. have received official notice that their son, Flying Officer John Goodwill MacPhee, R.C.A.‘F.. who was a navigator on a Halifax bomber and was reported missing after a raid on a synthetic oil plant at Sterlcrade, near Dusseldorf. Germany, on‘ October 6th, 1944, is now presumed dead. Flying Officer MacPhce had a brilliant career in the public schools and Riverdale Collegiate.
