An interesting fox hunt took place here last week when a fox owned by Mr. Ernest McPherson excaped from his ranch. Two fox- hcunds were put on her track but failed to capture her. Two were secured and the chase led from Dunblane to Lot 7, thence to West Point. Although the hounds kept the trail well, somehow the fox managed to keep just a. few leaps' ahead and no progress was made. After being at liberty for a week but one -day she was captured in a trap set by Mr. Humphrey of Glenwood in a. trap set near his ranch where the fox had spent the previous night. .
