Born in Maple Plains on August 6th. 1397 she was taken in her six- tleth year. and during her whole life she seemed to devote all her work and energy to others. with apparent little thought for her own comfort or welfare. Before her marriage she worked with diligence ind energy on the old homestead which care and sol- icitude after her marriage was ex- erclsed and directed tn the needs and comfort of her family. WEBSTER Residents of Midgell and sur- rounding communities were sad- dened whcn they learned that Rob- ert R. Webster had passed away on November 26, 1956 in her 92nd year. Altho in failing health for some time and confined to his home for two years. his keen intel- lect and memory. and interest in local as well as vmrld wide events never failed until the time of his death. He was born at Marie. the son of Edward and Henrietta IBowley) Webster and zrcat grandson of the first John Webster who came to Prince Edward island from Eng- land about the year 1760. I He was a most devoted member of Marie l'nited Church and was was treasurer nf the church for over twenty years and Superinten- years To all these offices with ih('ll' many exacting duties he gave lty. it could truly be said of him ;that his whole life was consecrat- -ed to his God.
