From Green Bay to Cape Race the ‘fishermén are dying well, and have taken much'more fish than at the corresponding period of the last years. The , fish are abvodant and of superior quality, May and the early part ef Juve were un- usually cdld; aidisuch a condition of the weather is usually followed by an’ abundant cod fishery. In Placentixand St. Mary's Bays, too, the prospects are good. The | amount of supplies issued is rather above the average.
