     of the show. 
     
     p'erfonmance (sans pants), 
     
     he has the ability to keep 
     
     the crowd in the palm of 
     
     his hand. Whether he is A 
     
     playing a ballad about 
     
     is. the hardships of a Mari- 
     
     time boy in the big city, 
     
       or a hard rocker about 
     
       those East Coast Blues, 
     
     Matt Minglewood gives us 
     
     all “our money's worth. 
     
    

    
     , Musically the evening 
     
     was of very high quality. 
     
     The songs from the first 
     
     Itwo albums were all well 
     
     lpolished and brillantly 
     
     played. The material 
     
    

    
     due tobe out on their 
     
     new album was very strong, 
     
      particular "Roehampton" 
     
     which may well be, a stand- 
     
     out track. However, when 
     
     it was all said and done, 
     
     it was Matt's show.‘ The 
     
     highlight had to be the 
     
     sight of Mr. MinglewOod, 
     
     being led through the 
     
     crowd while executing some 
     
     searing guitar licks. He 
     
     is a great rock 'n roller 
     
     and the fans do love him.

     never will be the criteria 
     
     of a good band. 
     
     own songs are not that 
     
     strong yet, at least have 
     
     the guts to make the copped 
     
     material your own. Rework 
     
     -them to feature YOUR strong 
     
     points.

     lead guitarist and a

     smallness that is necessary 
     
     for a band like Minglewood 
     
     to truly succeed. The 
     
     crowd itself was having 
     
     a good time, but overall 
     
     was constrained and ill at 
     
     ease which was understand- 
     
     able since the affair 
     
     was not licensed. Not 
     
     being able to partake 
     
     in some libations of 
     
     alcholic nature does have 
     
     a limiting effect upon your 
     
     ability to boogie and this 
     
     was quite pronounced at 
     
     the dance. 
     
    

    
     To those who did not shell 
     
     out the seven bucks, you did 
     
     miss a fine piece of rock, 
     
     and in the immortal words of 
     
     Matt Minglewood, "you're
