The school pre- sented an inviting interior, being taste- fully decorated with spruce, artitlciiil flowers and mottoes. the work of the teacher and pupils. A large number of the parents and ratepayers were present, who showed it marked inter- est in the pupils work. The examin~ ation was conducted hy Mr. Alex Roh- ertson, Mrs. Adrian Mclnnis ami Miss Nellie McDonald. The prompt and readyanswers of the pupils rellectetl much credit on the- teacher. Miss 'Frances McKinnon, who in the past few months that she has been in charge oi’ the school, has proved her- self very capable and painstaking. At the close of the exam a choice pro- gramme oi' choruses ,recitatioiis, etc. was rendered by the children.
