On taking the initiative, Karen feels it is her job to “represent my constituents,” and to keep the President in— formed of the issues and views of the students. She is prepared to listen, but states “i’m just as right as the next person.” Karen believes iii—camera sessions are important, but should not be abused. She finds they help get “back- ground information on a story” and to find out “the reasons why” on certain questions. After all, Karen says, “we are public representatives.” Karen is clearly undecided about CFS. She has heard various rumours, but thinks its is “important for students available.” ‘ Karen finds it unfortunate that students were not more aware of CFS at referendum time. She concludes there is a lot to be done before CFS is at its best for the students. On the WUSC referendum question Karen is in full support.
