SIR, I have the honor to inform you that it is intended to hold a Provincial Industrial Exhibition in the City of Halifax during the Second week of October next, at which Prizes to the amount of $10,000 will be distri- buted. The competition is limited to Nova Scotian productions, except in the case of Prizes for Models of Vessels, which are open to the world; but the Judges will have the power of granting a limited number of medals, diplomas, 0r honorary prizes for articles re- ceived from other countries; we are therefore desi- rous of making the Exhibition known beyond the limits of the Province, and with this view, I have forwarded by mail to your address, a number ofcopies of the Prize list. May I request that you will do us the favor to have these placed into the hands of gentlemen in your Province, who are interested in Agriculture, Arts or Manufactures. l have the honor to be, Sir, Your most obt. In Re-Estate of Peter McLellan, late of Burnt Point, near Georgetown, in the said Island, Farmer, De- ceased, Intestate. By the Honorable Charles Young, L.L.D., Surrogate Judge of Probate, do, do, (ye. , HEREAS, upon reading the petition of Margaret MacKenzie, Administratrix of the said Estate, now on file, setting forth that the personal property of the said deceased was insufficient to pay off the debts due by the said estate, and praying that license may be granted to her to sell the real estate of the said deceased for the payment of the said debts; and also upon reading a certified copy of the inventory of the real and personal property of the said de- ceased, also on file, and annexed to the said petition; Now. THEREFORE, I Do ORDER, that the parties inter- ested in the said Estate do appear before me in the Court House of the Colonial Building, in Charlotte- town, in the said island, on FRIDAY, the TWENTY- SEVENTH day of MARCH next ensuing, the date hereof, at eleven o’clock in the morning of the same day, to shew cause, if any they can, why the prayer of the said petition should not be granted. And I do fur- ther order that a true copy of this order he ublish- ed in the Royal Gazette newspaper of the sai Island. for at least three consecutive weeks from the date hereof, so that all parties interested in the said estate may have notice thereof.
