Mr. Malcolm A. MacDonald in his 90th year. The late Mr. MacDon- ald was a. man of beautiful Chris- tian characier and highly esteem- ed by all the people. He was a ruling elder of Ihc Vallcyfield Congregation lo which office he was elected In 1897. Not only was he a faithful and efficient mem- ber of the session and attended regularly to all the duties in con- nection with the church, but he also gave strong support to every worthy cause in the community. Although Mr. MacDonald reached such an advanced age. his facili- tics were not impaired and he enJoyed the visits of his family and friends to the last. Mrs. MncLeod who is a Registered Nurse gave him every care and comfort. and kindly ministered to him during the period of_his dc- cllning health and illness. The funeral services. largely at- tended were held from the home of Mr. and Mrs. MacLeod to the Valleyfield Church, and were con- ducted by the minister, Rev. A. C.
