Hatirax, Aprill14,—A French Can- adian crew has arrived here to take charge of the cruiser Aberdeen, engaged in the protection of the Nova Scotian fisheries fr the season. Last season the ship was manned by a Nova Scotian crew. OBITUARY. At her residence on the 10th in+t., fortified by the rites of her church, Caroline, aged 67 years, relict of the late John McKinnon, Esq., Rollo Bay. Deceased was & woman of most exemplary character 1n all relations of life, domestic, social and religious. In her death her family mourn the loess of an affectionate mother, and the community an obliging and faithful friend. Her re- mains were followed by a large number of persons to St. Alexis’ Church on the izth where a Requiem Mass was celebrated by Dr. Walker, after which interment took place in the cemetery close by. May her soul rest in peace.
