YN Feb. 13 to 16 - The Great Backyard Bird Event will allow backyard birders to collect information on our local birds and submit them on live to give a mid-winter view of our feathered friends. Travel will be in personal vehicles via car pool. The group will meet at 8:00 am sharp at the Farm Centre. YN Mar. 24 - The Public Forest Council’s video launch for “The Forest More Than Just a Bunch of Trees” will be hosted by Bob Bancroft. The launch will be held at Carrefour at 7:30 pm. Mar. 26 - The five naked eye planets and the Moon will be strung across the evening sky during the first few days (from Blomidon Field Naturalists) Mar. 26 - Nominations deadline for the J.
