S., was accidentally killed. _ 'Phe Unity had a cargo of creosote piles for the Dominion Government loading at Queen's Wharf when her captain lost his life. He was adjusting the chains on one of these piles which was being raised by block and tackle from the hatch when he lost his footing and fell headlong in- to the hold strikinghis head on the piles underneath.
