HaisuL Gram, Dec. 27.—A representa tive jirgab, comprising most af the Lower and Upper Swa:* tribes was despatched from here five days ago by Major Deane to put pressure on the Jinki -khels to expel the Mad Fakir from Swat. Intelligence has just been received that on its arrival in in the Jinki~khel country on the 10th inst the jirgah discovered that the Fakir wasi being quietly harbored at Paite] by some of his Jinki-khe] adherents. Thereupon the jirgah informed the Jinki-khels that if they did not at once expel the Fakir from Swatit would force use to compel the Jinki~khels to do so, so as the remaining Swat trives had no ivtention of sllowing the Fakir to embroil them with the British government. The jirgah is reported to have gane to Paital itself to asertain per~ sonally that the Fakir really does leave Swat.
