WRIGHT There passed peacefully away at her late residence. 02 Prince Street. Mrs. Innis C. Wright, on Friday, January 10th. after a long illness. Born on the Winslue Road Mrs. Wright was the only daughter of the late William Sidnev find Ann Winsioe Smith. After her marriage she lived on the Brackzcy Point Road for several years and later .lived in Charlottetown. 1 She was of English descent. Gov- ernor Bir Charles Douglas Smith being her paternal great, great grandfather. I-Ie was appointed by the King as Governor of this Prov- Sir Sidnev Smith, the hero of Acre, also Sir Robert Hodizson. who was the last Governor appointed directly by the King England. were direct ancestors and her fam- llv history can be traced beck to Sir Thomas Smith the “Great Custom- er in Queen Elizabeth's time. Her {ancestors played s. prominent part in the early history of this Province having served their King during the days when this country was in the early days of development.
