Up to 1,000 people crowded into the Montague Curling Rink ior the final night of the Community Car- nival on Saturday to bring to a close three nights of communal en- ‘ icrtainment. Each year the Ccm- munity Welfare League sponsors this important program and uses the money obtained for commun- ity betterment. This year the money is slated to be used on en- larging the present ice-space in the community rink. During the three nights large crowds enjoyed themselves at bingo. chocolate wheels. darts. crown and anchor. spill the milk. horse races and many other attractions. A bulldozer was hitched to the building but did not have suf- ficient power id pull the building after it was squared away on Main Street. A big 3-t0n truck with a load of lime was attached to the bulldozer. Finally through the combined efforts of the truck and bulldozer the building was moved along the street.
