Tar: death is announced of Mrs. Mclvor, widow of the late William Graham Mc- Ivor, Esq. of Lushington Hall and Glen- rock, Utakamund, Madras Presidency and for many years Superintendent of Chincona cultivation to the British Government in India. She was Anne, the eldest daughter of thc late Colonel Edwards, Iscoed, Denhyhshire, Wales. A woman of great sagacity and force of character sho proved herself a true help- meet to hor husband identifying herself with his public undertakings and ably forwarding his aims during his disting- uished career in India. After his death sho erected a handsome monument to his memory in Utakamund and every year doaated a sum of money for distribution among the pocrof his native parish of Dollar, Clackmannanshire, Scotland. She survived her husband nearly twenty- eight years, having reached the advanced age of eighty-five at the time of her death. Her nephew the Rev. J.
