I arkdlale I The Parkdale Flyers linched the Utle of the Island Senior 3 League in convincing fashion last night at the Sports Arena when they pound- oil out a 13-5 decision over the luckless Summerside Aces. '.l'he Aces managed to score the first goal of the game but for the next two periods looked as 1! they were playing in the wrong league as the high-flying Flyers threw in 10 unanswered goals to go into the third period with a 10-1 lead and scored twice more in the early minutes of the third before the Aces could get untracked to make a creditable showing the rest FLvers 4-1 In the last 13 minutes of the game. The Aces apparently didn't learn any lessons when Allie Carver ran wild in their last appearance here and fired in 10 goals and once more Carver went on a rampage tiring home 4 goals and helped out on 3 others for a big 7-point per- tormance and practically assured himself of the league scoring title. Alliels brother Skip equalled the coach's performance with a 7-point effort of his own on 3 goals and 4 assists Parkda1e's line of Kip Ready. Willie Dunn and Jim Mac- Leod never looked better since Bob Hurry was lost to the team through injury. Each of them hit for a pair of goals. MacLeod also picked of the way as they outscored the 6 Flyers ABIasl Aces 13-5: 2 more and Ready and Jim Mac- Leod contributed singles to build up a 5-1 lead. All.ie's first goal had the Carver trademark all over lt as he whipped a low shot that caught the far corner of the net and his last at 19:54 was scored when he was lying flat on the ice. Skip Carver made it M at 2:35 of the second period and by 17:50 Parkdale had made the score- board read 10-1 as Jim MacLeod shot one. Willie Dunn two and Skip Carver another. Allie Carver rammed home his fourth goal at 1:55 of the third and Kip Ready made it 12-1 at '26 From there on out the Aces made a battle of it as Edgar Taylor fired two goals in less than two minutes and Carl Saunders ma It 12-4 at 16:16. Sk p Carver then scored his third goal and at 19-09 C-ord Cutclltfe rounded out the scoringlon a goal- rink will be rep- resenting the Summerslde R. C. A. F.
