A preseason tripleheader featured a UPEI Men team eager to prove their worth against Maine after a disappointing loss on Friday night, and the women looking to cream Acadia to kick things off on Saturday morning. On the men side, injury woes con- tinued to plague the men after starter Peter Stay twisted his ankle and found himself unable to play, joining fellow starter Tyler Wood on the sideline. This left room for Andrew Rogers to step up and show the coaches what he could do and step up he did. When it was a. said and done, Rogers found him- self with 17 points, 11 rebounds, and player of the game honors after filling in for Wood for a 37 minute stretch of the game. UPEI Women Take AUS Championships Congratulations to the UPEI Lady Panthers who won the AUS Championship match on Sunday against the Dalhousie Tigers.
