Easter thankotlering was 31.00. A report of the weighing party stated proceeds were 32635. A donation of 81.00 was received from Mrs. Duncan Marshall and a let- ter was read from Rev. W.A. The regular monthly meeting of the Auxiliary of the Women's Missionary Society was held at the home of Mrs. J. L. LePage on Thursday night, April 3rd. The president, Mrs. LePage. tool: charge of the meeting which had as its theme ”Easter gave us the Bible". Two verses of I-Iymn 182 "0 Word of God Incarnate" were read and the fourth verse sung as the worship period opened. All joined in prayer, following which various members read the Easter story as presented in ccr- tain verses of the Bible. Hymn 98, "Beneath the Cross of Jesus" was sung. followed by more scrip- ture resdings and the singing or two verses of Hymn 104, "Christ The Lord Is Risen Today". Mrs. C. Matheson offered pray- er for the missionary, Dr. Mur- ray, and the Easter thankoi'ler- ing was received amounting to 316.85. A collection of 32.06 was also taken in.
