evidenced by tho standing vote of

Andrew Ritchie sang a song and thc
Sunday School orchestra gave a selec-
tion, nll ot` which were thoroughly en-
joyed by thc atldiclicc. A collcctloli
on behalf of the W. M. S. was taken
up wllich. the Guardian understands,
was very satisfactory.
The Egmont Flay and Mont Carmel
-Exhibition, which was held yesterday,
was a great success. The attendance
was very large and the number of
exhibits was greater than usual.
The judging was done by Prof.’s
Ross, Reid and Tollnalit and Mr J. A.
Clark, Superintendent of the Experi-
mental Farm. The number of horses
ollt was greater than usual, and some
ot' them were of excellent quality. lil
cattle the Ayrshires were superior.
lil the class for aged bulls of this breed
three extra good ones entered the ring.
After considerable inspection the red
ticket \vas awarded to the Club bull
from St Chrysostom, a large deep-
bodied bull of excellent quality, six
years old.
lil the class for aged cattle a large
and deep-bodied cow, owned by Stanis-
laus Gallant. of St Chrysostom, came
first. Mr Gallant also showed a very
llno licifcr out ul' this cow. Ili Hol-
stoins some tlnc cows, heifers and
bulls were shown. Shorthorns were
not up to the mark. A very exccllent
_veurling bull, purcllascd last spring
by thc farmers club at Maxilnville

thc district.

than usual. Very little poultry was
