WASHINGTON, Sept. 16.-Proofs removing nny doubts that Lenlne and Trottky, the Bolshevik leaders, are paid German agents-if indeed any doubts remain--are laid before the world by the United States Govern- ment in the iirst instalment of an amazing series of oiilcial documents disclosed through the Committee on Public Information. Obtained in .Russia by American agents, those documents not only show how the German Government, through its Imperial Bank, paid its gold to Lenine, Trotzky and their immediate associates to betray Rus- sia into desertlng the Allies, but give added proofs, if any are necessary, that Germany had perfected her plans for a war of world conquest long before the assasslnatione at Sarajevo, which, _as the world now is convinced, conveniently furnished her pretext. These documents further. show that before the world war was four months old, and more than two years before the United States was drawn into it. Germany already was setting afoot her plans to “mobilize destruc- tive agents and observers" to cause explosions, strikes and outrages in this country and planned the employ- ment of "anarchists and escaped criminals" for the purpose. Ranking in their sensational na- ture with the notorious Zimmerman note, proposing war by Mexico and Japan on the United States, these documents lay bare a. new strata. of Prussian intrigue, a. new View of`~ the workings oi’ kulture to disrupt the Allies, standing between the world and Kaiserisni. They disclose a new story of human treachery for gold which might almost well be described without sacrilege as placing its per- petrators on a. pedestal with Judas. The ‘-revelations of German-Bol- sheviki intrigue may be submarized as follows: Lenine, Trotzky and associates sold Russia to the German Govern- ment for $25,000,000. Germa,ny’s plans for war of world conquest were perfected long before assassination at Sarajevo furnished the excuse. ' More than two years before the United States entered the war, Ger- many launched plans for outrages in America, anarchists and escaped criminals to be the destructive agents. ‘ Orgy of killing and excesses. known as Bolsheviki Revolution, was arranged by the German General Staff. Brest-Litovsk “peace” conference was stage-setting for Russl.a's be- trayal. German staff officers secretly di- rected all Bolshevik policies, foreign, domestic and economic; _ German omcers spied on embassies allied or friendly to R,ussia. Picked German general detailed to "defend" Petrograd against German army. All industrial concerns in Germany ordered on June 9, 1914, nearly two months before war, to open sealed orders containing mobilisation plans. Pact at Ki-onstadt July, 1917, turn- ed over Bolshevik policies to German omcerse Germans dictated membership of Bolshevik "executive central com.- mittee." Assassination of Russian national leaders arranged by German officers. Destruction of Polish legionaries in Russian army ordered. Dieorganiaation of Roumanian army and deposlng of Roumanian King planned. Substitution of omcers satisfactory to Germany in command of Russian troops instead of patriotic Russian generals provided for. King Cong:-atnlatea Pres. Wilson.
