The dividend was approved on share capital of $14,206.95 tram $206.85 which is available for dividends. Death Occurs Of Mrs. J. MacMiIIan The death of Mrs. Joseph B. MacMill‘an, St. Peter's. occurred Sunday in Brookline, Massachu- setts, following a very brief ill- ness. [She was in her 72nd year. Since 1956 the late Mrs. Mac- Millan had spent the greater part of each year in Brookline, where she resided with her daughter Mrs. Mary Condon. A daughter of the late Thomas and Mrs. Larkin, she was the last survivor of her immediate family. Two brothers, William and Justin ore-deceased her. Besides Mrs. Condon. she ls survived by three sons, William and Louis at home, and Martin, an employee of the Royal Bank, t Present Concert At Little Sands A most enjoyable Christmas concert was held in the Little Sands hall on Friday evening, December 19. A good crowd was in attendance. The pupils of Little Sands School and their teacher, Miss Velma Stewart presented a pro- gram of songs. carols, recita- tions. drills and dialogues. The singing was excellent and the recitations good and the dialo- gues amusing. ' The whole program showed painstaking effort on the part of the teacher and a lot of study' by the pupils. After a very enjoyable pro- gram Santa Claus (in the per- son of Angus MacKay) delighted young and old with his mimics and tricks and fun. The children themselves were delighted and they and the teacher received many and varied gifts from his bountiful hands. Santa Claus departed wishing all “A very Merry. Merry Christ- mas and a Happy New Year." The chairman, Malcolm Mac- Neill expressed appreciation to the teacher in her untiring ef- forts.
