JAMES PARNELL CURRAN In the silent hours of the morn- ing on Wednesday , October 23, 1957, the angel of death visited the Charlottetown Hospital and claimed for its own, James Par- nell Curran of Pleasant Grove, at the age of 70 years. He was the son of the late James Curran. - His death‘came as a great shock to his , relatives and friends, Parnell, as he was known to all was a man of cheerful disposition, loved and respected by all who knew him, to old and young he always had a cheer- ful smile, and to visit in his home was a grefit pleasure. The de- ceased had been ill only a short time and had entered the hos- pital for treatment but all that medical. skill and nursing could do was done, but God willed oth- erwise. During his short illness he was visited by his pastor, Rev. O.P. Wood, also Rev. Fran- cis ,McDonald of‘ Charlottetown. and Rev. Frank McPherson of ‘Tracadie Cross. ' He leaves to mourn‘ a sorrow- ful wife, (nee, Ida Curley, for- merly of Freetown, P.E.I.), also the following daughters and son, Kathleen, Mrs. J. Wattsof Grand Tracadie; Doris, Mrs. M.
