Orin, as he was familiarly known was born at Kifgsboro fifty-two years ago, son of- Har- lan Kennedy and Emma Stewart, who predeceased him by sev- eral years. He operated the family home- stead which was reclaimed from ‘|lthe virgin forest by his progeni- tors who came dwt from Scotland in 1808, exactly’ one hundred hyears before his birth. But ow- ing to ill health he was forced to retire several years ago. He moved to. Charlottetown in 1956 and resided there until the time of his death, which came unexpectedly. Taken severely ill he was immediately removed to the City Hospital and underwent an emergency, operation but de- spite medical skill and tender nursing he passed to his eternal rest. Left to mourn his passing are two brothers, Lorne and Lloyd of Charlottetown; also sisters: Alice, Annie, and Sandra of Charlottetown. Two brothers predeceased him: Roy, who died in January of 1928 and Calvin in February, 1948. The funeral service was con- ducted from the Cutcliffe Funer- al Home on the afternoon of Feb- ruary 13, by Rev. H. L.
