The deceased was hornin the Isle of Skye, Scotland, seventy-three Years ago and emigrated to this country in 1854. She was married in 1863 and since that time resided in Lewes where she reared her family and endeared hersel! to the communi- ty by her kind disposition and gentle Christian character. She leaves to mourn two sons and three daughters. These are: George, on the homestead, John A. in Vancouver, Mrs. John A. MacPherson, Lewes; Mrs. Donald J, MacPherson, Oakland, Cal., and Mrs. David J. Bull, Murray Harbor. Thcec have the sympathy of a wide circle of friends in their bereavement. TWO SAD DEATHS.-Two child- ren died in Charlottetown on Thursday from _ dip- theria. Both were seven years of age and had been schoolmates to- gether. One child was little Richard \\'oi'tli, son of Mr. and Mrs. ' Charles l/Vorth, Hillsboro St. He had been ill for several days, He seemed to be about recovered from the terrible melody when he took a turn for the worse and died quite suddenly. The funeral took place privately in the afternoon to the Peoples' Cemetery. The other victim of this dread ldis- ense was little Marion E. Taylor,sec- ond daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel 'l‘nylor, Fitzroy St., formerly of St. l*eter's Island. The funeral took place yesterday morning by iceboat to ltocky Point thence to New Do- minion (Jemetcry. The case of these two children is particularly sad in- deed. Much sympathy is iclt. for the bereaved parents.
