The regular monthly meeting of Vernon River Women's Institute was held at the home of Mrs. John Morrisaey, Monday evening, June 13th, with a good attendance. Meeting opened by repeatins Creed. Minutes of last meeting were read and approved. Report of dance held in hall June 1st was given. A neat sum was realized. Sick committee reported one treat of fruit sent, for which thanks was received. It was decided that children be given treat of fruit and candy for school closing. Also $7.50 was voted for school prizes. Moved and sec- onded that T.B, membership fee of $1.00 be paid. - ’ As there was no further business meeting adjourned, after which a dainty lunch was served by the hostess, assisted by Mrs. J. B.
