     c-Toning. Plans were discussed for 
     
     a closing group dinner in May. 
     
     An interesting Bible quiz was con- 
     
     ducted by Edith Hawkes.

     served by the hostess. assisted by 
     
     Itlrs. Edward MacPhail. A hymn-, 
     
     sing brought an enjoyable even-'

     The death of Mrs. Margaret 
     
     Higgins occurred on April 7th in. 
     
     the General Hospital, Saint John., 
     
     NB 
     
    
   
   
    
     Mrs. Higgins. who was a tre- 
     
     qucnt visitor to Charlottetown. the! 
     
     guest of her sister Mrs. F. J. Cas- 
     
     ey. will be remembered here by 
     
     many friends who will regret her 
     
     passing. She was the widow of 
     
     william H. Higgins. 
     
    

    
     She is survived by one son. Jos- 
     
     eph. of St. Joseph's Uiversity. as 
     
     well as by six sisters and two 
     
     brothers. 
     
    

    
     The funeral was held on Tues- 
     
     tiny. April 10th with Solemn High 
     
     tlass celebrated by Mgsr. F. Cron- 
     
     In with Fr. John McCarthy and 
     
     Fr. Joseph Mt-Carthy nephews of 
     
     the deceas T'. as deacon and rub- 
     
     deacon. 
     
    

    
     Pallbearers were six nephews.

     itual tributes and many lloral 
     
     pieces. 
     
    

    
     Present In the Lady Chapel of 
     
     the Cathedral were a large group 
     
     of members of the Sisters of Char- 
     
     ity in which Order. Mrs. I-liggin's 
     
     sister is a nun. A delegation of 
     
     students from St. Josephs Univer- 
     
     sity also attended the mass.
