The person contracting to be at all times provided with at least three suitable and safe lee Boats. and crews of {our men to cross each trip. upon such days as may be appointed. if the same be practicable. The outward Mail to be received at the Post. ()Ilice in the Settlement of Cape Traverse, and delivered at Cape anll'lentine; and those coming to the Island to be re- ceived at Cape 'l‘orinci‘itinc and delivered in Charlotte— town at the Post Olllce. The person tendering, to agree to have a courier at Amherst. to leave there with the Mails for this Island, upon such days as may he di- rected, and to attend to the instructions he may receive from time to time, through the Postmaster at Amherst; and the contractor also to he prepared to attend at Cape Tormcntine to aid the Ice Couriers on their ar- rival aud departure with the Mails. The Mails to be delivered at Amherst within eight hours after receiving them at Cape Tormentine, and also to deliver Mails within eight hours at Cape 'I‘ormcntiue alter receiving them at Amherst. The Government will not be bound to accept the lowest tender. Sullicient Security will he. required. and the names of two responsible persons. as suretics, must be given in each tender.
