Strong, KC, charged with indecent assault on a female, were returned beck to the ordinary Court by Judge In- mun, (Judge of the Juvenile Court), as he considered, as the boys were nearly sixteen years of age, the 1n- terests of the public and the boys themselves would be better served for them to be tried in the ordinary court. The cases were heard on Friday and Saturday. Both youths were found guilty of the charge and each given sentences of one month in the County jail. The Magistrate in passing sentence, stated that, in view of the boys not yet being slx- teen years of age, he had exercised clemency, adding this warning that if they ever came up before him again on any charge, they would be given the full penalty the law im- posed.
